Andrea Fisher Fine Pottery
Richard Zane Smith is a Wyandot sculptor who grew up in St. Louis Missouri and learned the art of pottery at the Kansas City Art institute. Smith’s works draw from his ancient Wyandotte heritage as well as Pueblo inspired designs that incorporate coils and layers within the clay. He will conduct a live demonstration (masks required) of his highly personalized technique which reveals the coils of clay as a design element in the completed pot. His work will be featured in the Gallery through August 22nd. The gallery is open Mon-Sat, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sundays from 11:30 am – 5:30 pm.
